Home Room Parents (HRP)
What is a Home Room Parent (HRP)? An HRP is a parent volunteer who helps their child’s teacher coordinate and communicate class and school-wide activities and events. Each class typically has a team of 2-3 HRPs who divide up these responsibilities:

Communicate weekly updates to parents via ParentSquare

Party Planning
-
Class funds; Teacher and staff gifts

Class yearbook photos & layout
Training is provided to all HRPs. If you have more than one child at Laurel, you may serve as an HRP for more than one class.
